This is NEW - started on the 1st November 2024. 

This is A history of The Metal Doughnut Band in the form of a retrospectively posted blog.

An underground, unclothed, body painted, fluorescent, strobe, experimental, metal bashing collective (formed in Leicester) that existed from 1983 to 1985.

The Doughnuts were, at various times and configurations:

Andy Doughnut - Saxaphone, backing vocals, cymbal, etc., (In studio: piano)
Chris Doughnut - Metal, shouts, backing vocals
Damian Doughnut - Metal, dancing, shouts, backing vocals, (In C4 film: grinder)
Dave Doughnut - Guitar, synth, etc.
Graham Doughnut - Drums
Ian Doughnut - Metal, shouts, backing vocals
John Doughnut - Metal, vocals, shouts, grinder, (In studio: guitar etc.)
John II Doughnut - Bass, guitar, synth, etc.
Mark Doughnut - Bass, wasp, grinder, etc.
Phil Doughnut - Guitar, etc.
